At its September 2018 meeting, the Judicial Conference approved amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil and Criminal Procedure.  The amendments became effective December 1, 2019.  A complete set of the amendments is available here.
 
The Court amended Local Rule 7.2 to allow a party seeking relief under 28 U.S.C. § 2254 or 28 U.S.C. § 2255 to file a reply within seven (7) days of the response.  The amendment is a result of the modifications to the Federal Rules Governing Section 2254 and Section 2255 Proceedings.
