Effective December 1, 2020, the fee to file a new civil action will increase to $402.  This fee increase is the result of the inflationary adjustment to the administrative fee, from $50.00 to $52.00, for filing a civil action, suit, or proceeding in the District Court, as approved by the Judicial Conference of the United States (28 U.S.C. § 1914).

Also effective December 1, 2020, the fee for an attorney to file for admission to practice in the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas will increase to $212.00.  This fee includes the certificate of admission and library fund fee.
