The United States District Court, Eastern District of Arkansas (ARED) is requesting quotes for hardware purchase and installation services for the following network equipment. Eight (8) new Cisco C9300-48P-E or equivalent switches and three (3) C9300-24P-E or equivalent switches, replacing the existing C3850-48P and C3850-24P switches. Additionally, two (2) C9300-48P-A or equivalent and two (2) C9300X-24Y-A or equivalent switches to replace two (2) existing C6807-XL core switches. Additionally, thirteen (13) C9300-NM-8X network modules or equivalent and two (2) C9300X-NM-8Y network modules or equivalent are required for fiber interconnection. Thirty (30) PWR-C1-715WAC-P power supplies or equivalent are required, two (2) for each switch to provide redundancy. SFP modules will be reused from the existing switch infrastructure. All required accessories, cables and licenses not explicitly specified should be included in the quote.
Requirements include the following:

• Equipment will be installed at the Richard Sheppard Arnold Little Rock courthouse.

• Vendor must be a Cisco Gold Certified Partner.

• Vendor must have previous experience working on Federal Government IT systems.

• Work is to take place in the second quarter of 2025.

• Configure Cisco IOS on new switches to match configurations of current switches.

• Move copper and fiber patch cables including SFP modules to new switches.

• Conduct baseline testing prior to switch installation, and again afterward.

• Configuration and staging work can be done during business hours prior to the installation and cutover to the new switches.

• Mounting and cutover of switches is to be started after business hours and completed in the timespan of one weekend.

• Provide day one support on first business day after installation is complete.
